The 5th Metatarsal Spiral Fracture plate is uniquely designed for this specific fracture pattern. The plate provides fixation in two planes, with enhanced fixation distally when compared to traditional straight lateral plating. Unlike a straight lateral plate, this implant is pre-contoured to hug the diaphysis laterally. Additionally, the distal aspect wraps dorsally over the metatarsal head with an anatomic three-hole cluster, providing more fixation options distal to the fracture site for a more robust construct.
